My friend, Ann, has terminal cancer and is in her last days unless God changes things.  She is married with 6 kids - youngest is 4, oldest is 19.  She's only 40.  Started as breast cancer a couple of years ago and has spread throughout her body even though she had early and extensive treatment.  She is now at home on high doses of pain meds and constant oxygen.  They are trying some alternative meds as the doctors say they have done all that can be done.

Please pray for God's very best plan for Ann - whatever that may be.  She wants to finish raising her children, but this doesn't seem very likely.  Pray for strength for her and for her family as His plan opens before them.

Thanks for your prayers for my friend, Ann.  Blessings to all!  Denise

Wow...we will definitely be praying for her and the family that she will be leaving behind.  Hopefully she will be going to a better place with no more pain and suffering, but may the Lord protect and take care of the family that she will leave behind.  You can count on us to be praying!  Please keep us updated.

Thanks very much for those prayers.  Yes, Ann knows the Lord as her Savior - she's indeed going to a better place, Heaven.  Her family will need all the prayers and support they can get.

Just got back from seeing my friend, Ann.  It is so sad!  She is so very thin - the last time I saw her she was very swollen with edema, she looks so different.  The pain meds have her very spacey and she's not thinking straight.  She's not eating or drinking much at all.  At times she was just mumbling and then she'd speak really plain.  We prayed when I left and I told her I'd be back in a few days to sit with her awhile.  Please continue to pray for her comfort and God's peace for her family.

Ann went home to be with Jesus sometime during Friday night.  She was gone when Wayne got up Saturday morning.  So glad I went to see her on Friday afternoon and was able to pray with her.  I am so sad for her family and church family (including me), but am celebrating her homecoming in Heaven and that wonderful hug from Jesus!  Please pray for comfort and guidance for her husband Wayne, and the six children - Sarah, Andy, Megan, Caleb, Katie and Jake.  Although Ann is at peace, their lives go on and will be complicated.

Thanks for your concern for our sister-in-the-Lord.

Denise

I am so sorry to hear that...though it is reassuring to know that she is now in a better place with no more suffering.

We will continue to pray for the family that she has left behind, as they learn to move on in their daily lives.

Please give them our condolences, but also rejoice with them as she is in heaven now with her heavenly father!
