Ramya, first, I need to clarify. Are you saying you are 77 kg? How tall are you? Please send me an email directly to info@FitForJesus.com and provide more details.

Take care, God bless, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Jeremy,

Although I have only known you a short time, I can tell we are on the same mission. "Faith without works is dead" I try to live my faith out through my mission to help others with their fitness as you are as well. I am excited to have you as a guest blogger as well.

Dana, I am so pleased to hear that you are excited about pleasing Jesus! It says in the Bible that God weighs our hearts, and it sounds like your heart is in a powerful place!

Regarding your belly fat issue... the reality is that for the "apple" body types, the belly fat is one of the last places to go. The GOOD news is that you CAN get rid of it. However, you will have to work hard *and* intelligently to make it happen.

Your diet will be one of THE most important ingredients in your journey. You will also need to do resistance training, so that you keep your metabolism racing at all times, in addition to a bit of cardio.

I recognize it's not the ideal or perfect answer. No one likes to be told to "work harder to get results", but the reality is this: to get the BEST results and be all that Christ created us to be, we will always need to provide great Temple Fuel and push ourselves, physically.

Since Alissa and I do not have a workout program available for everyone (yet), I am going to suggest that you checkout The Truth About Abs, a program by Mike Geary. No, it won't have a focus on Christ, but you can utilize his program, get results, and keep your HEART in the right place.

Take care, thank you so much for the question, and God bless you immeasurably,

I just found you on Facebook and I am excited about pleasing Jesus. My main problem is I carry my weight in my middle and even when I dropped from a size 16 to a size 10 I still had a belly issue. I am afraid it makes me a cadidate for diabetes. What can I do to lose belly fat?
